Senior Web Developer - Norwich - Fully Remote - £40,000-£50,000 + Bonus

CloudScope are recruiting exclusively for a reputable business in the Norfolk area. With recent growth and a new, additional office, there is no better time to join the organisation. We are seeking a Senior Web Developer/Systems Architect, the main requirement being experienced using OO-PHP and the Laravel framework.

The Role

To work alongside a team of 30+ developers on a wide range of projects, with support from a project manager to organise customer liaison. Projects consist of large eCommerce systems, bespoke CRMs, unreal engine, and mobile apps.

The Candidate

• Strong ability to write modern, well structured, OO-PHP.
• Experience working with the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of MySQL, including database design best practices and query optimisation.
• Experience building high-quality UIs with frontend frameworks such as Vue or React
• Solid understanding of best practices around coding standards, security, and performance.
• Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs.
• Confident working with Git and conducting code reviews.
• Willingness and confidence in mentoring more junior developers.
• Able to confidently estimate on timescales and deliver works within budget.

Salary: £40,000-£50,000

Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday

Location: Norwich (Fully Remote Options)
